Supplies Ink Machine Which transfer paper (and printer) is best for use with a Heat Press Machine?
Hello,
I have a Heat press which I bought some years ago but never used.
I would like to start using it a.s.a.p but I am confused as to which transfer paper is best to use (i.e. a paper made for use with a heat press rather than a iron).
I did buy a Epson at the same time as the heat press (along with a ink supply system) but it broke, which cheap epson would do the trick?
ok. thanks in advance!
I've found some heat transfer paper on the web that will work in the way you ask:
The instructions with it say that a transfer press is better than an iron as you can get a more even pressure, this would imply that the iron on stuff from Epson can be used as well so you would need to go to your local paper outlet and read the packet. Guess you will need to know what Temperature your press works at or can be set to.
As for a printer well something like the Epson R285 would be perfect. Photo quality printer and fairly cheap. Epson's price is approx 68 GBP here in the UK.
